Willis "Ducci" Redd aka DJ Nasty - "The Get Things Done Guy

Ducci doesn’t really follow anybody. He even tries to be different. His love for entertaining comes naturally and being the center of attention is something he embraces wherever he goes. You can see it in his swagger, hear it in his New Yawk-esque dialect, and oh, how it shines when you watch him “get things done” in every task he tackles.

His uncle inspired him to be different. He also taught him everything he knows about boxing. His career as an amateur boxer in the mid-90s earned him 36 wins and no losses. But he really got things done when he won the title at a Tough Man contest in North Augusta, Georgia in 1996 where he defeated nine men in two days!  He became known as the “Toughest Man in The SRSA.” Willis did turn pro for about two years, but his love of music led him back to New York.

 Ducci’s musical journey truly began as a rapper in 1985 when Profile Records out of Manhattan signed him and releases THE REAL GRANDMASTER by THE TWO (Cap Mellow Rap & Anchorman Mr. D). His return to New York in the late 90s brought him back to writing and recording in his own studio on his own label, Rock Hard Studio on Farmers Blvd in Queens. He created another label, Junkyard Records with a partner who now lives in Jamaica. They also had a show on cable access called THE VIBE VIDEO Podcast - THE CROOKED MANAGERS in the late nineties as well. He’s planning to create more podcasts in the near future. But Redd’s love of songwriting and recording is where his passion lies. He aspires to be the DJ that collaborates with young, unknown artists in the Tampa Bay area and hopes to get things done differently and creatively! 

As an event promoter and producer, Redd plans to bridge that generation gap and produce shows with all kinds of music, from Indian to contemporary Urban to singer/songwriter. His main goal for S.O.I.Entertainment is to provide a customer service driven event company that thinks outside the box, creatively collaborating with other vendors and entertainers to get things done for his clients in Tampa Bay. 

Willis “Ducci” Reid doesn’t need to become “The Next Big Thing.” He is already there!
