Her Education
Having immigrated from Barbados to the United States as a young girl, Cheryl Trotman-Redd sought a better life. She pursued her education, completing both academic and business courses, and later enrolled in an LPN program to align with her passion for caring for the elderly, children, and disabled individuals.
The Entrepreneur
In New York, Cheryl owned and operated a retail store called The Brown Bag Boutique, specializing in clothing, handbags, and other merchandise. However, her entrepreneurial spirit extended beyond retail. Together with her husband, Ducci, she aspired to own their own business and maintain independence. They established a cleaning business named Personal Touch.
The Event Coordinator
Her joy in planning and hosting Halloween parties, decorating, and inviting the community to participate in costume contests led her to put those skills to work as an Event Coordinator. Her genuine pleasure in seeing others smile and have fun is what makes her an excellent host.
The Dream
Inspired by her husband's dream of owning a business, she embraced the opportunity to collaborate and achieve their shared goal by creating S.O.I Entertainment. She envisions the growth and success of their business, hoping that their children will eventually carry on the legacy and take it to new heights.
